Jerrel E. Crisp, 80, of Murphy, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, at a hospital in Milledgeville, Ga.
    He was the son of the late James Riley Crisp and Hazel Forrister Crisp.

    She was a native of Cherokee County, where she had lived most of her life.

    Karl Erick Shook, 48, of Andrews, formerly of Robbinsville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

    Charlie Stalcup, 88, of Marble, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021.

    Billy Jack West, 91, of Inman, S.C., passed away after an extended illness Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, at The Lakewood Memory Care facility in Boiling Springs, S.C.

    Jean Amos White, 89, of Marble, died Jan. 7, 2021, after a brief illness.

    William Ault Ashe, 89, of Murphy, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021.
    William was born Sept. 30, 1931, in Cherokee County  to the late Wade and Sarah Harris Ashe.

    Lorelei Carolyn “Penny” (Dike) Chambers, 56, of Andrews, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021.
    She was born March 3, 1964, in Jacksonville, Fla.
