    Johnny Ledford Anderson, 73, of Murphy, passed away Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, in a Gainesville, Ga., hospital.

    Danner Olen Cochran, 11, of Andrews, passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020.
    Danner was born in Union County, Ga., to Matthew Cochran and Ashley Cochran.

    Betty Caroleen Hardin Wheeler McCants was born June 30, 1941, in Andrews. She passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020.

    Charles E. Elrod, 69, of Murphy, passed away Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, in an Asheville hospital.
    He was a native of Cherokee County where he had lived most of his life.

    Kenneth Guffey, 73, of Hayesville, passed away  Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020.
    He was born in Clay County to the late Jess and Evie Ramey Guffey.

    Sherry Lynn Hedden Rogers, 49, of Hayesville, flew home to be with our Savior Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, following a 12-year battle with cancer.

    Richard J. (Dick) Taylor died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, after a long illness.
