Hands-on experience offers hope for healing

Owner Lauren Diltz, along with the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, introduced High Lonesome Stables to the community with a tour of the stable and property, a lesson demonstration, and a meet and greet with the horses and staff, as well as a gift raffle.

Atlanta players bring Shakespeare to Martins Creek

Martins Creek Elementary/Middle School invited the Atlanta Shakespeare Company players up to their school gym on Oct. 28 to teach them more about Shakespeare and acting. Mary Ruth Ralston, the leader of the traveling group, said he hopes her company can “help bridge the gap between the centuries.”
