Sam Jokich/Staff Correspondent Hot summer cars: Andrews Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7620 held its sixth annual Hot Summer Nights car show fundraiser on Aug. 23 along Main Street downtown. It looked like a good time was had by all cooling down on a warm day.

Wreck: One vehicle ran into another, pushing the vehicles into a third one, on July 17 at the intersection of U.S. 19/74 and Peachtree Street in Murphy. Serious damages and multiple injuries were reported.
