Anngee Quinones-Belian/Staff Correspondent  There was a vehicle accident in front of Hot Spot at U.S. 64/129 in the early afternoon Monday. Three vehicles were involved, with two people taken to the hospital and two others refusing treatment. The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, N.C. Highway Patrol and Ranger Volunteer Fire Department responded.
