Peachtree – It’s time for the annual Peachtree Community Center’s Holiday Festival, which will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The indoor/outdoor festival will have 50 different arts and craft vendors offering everything from jewelry, baskets, paintings, pottery, ornaments and wreaths as well as steampunk-like hats, painted baby clothes, wood crafts, soaps, lotions, candles and many more unique and hand-crafted items. Other happenings will include a pottery demonstration by Michael Lalone and a pet adoption hosted by the Valley River Humane Society.
Peachtree Volunteer Fire Department members will be out showcasing their new and shiny fire truck. They will also be assisting with traffic. Bring the kids out to see the new truck.
The Peachtree Community Center’s Arts & Crafts Festival will also be selling food. Veterans will receive a free sausage biscuit or hot dog in appreciation for their service.
Be sure to get your photo taken at the fun and festive fall photo booth. It’s a favorite among those who like a photo souvenir reminder of the fun.
Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy this special time of the year with family and friends.
“We’re hoping it will be our best one yet, especially after the pandemic,” said Jeanie Setser, secretary/treasurer of the department.
Admission and parking are free.
The Peachtree Community Center is well lit, neat and warm with clean restrooms and plenty of parking at 125 Memory Lane.
