Body Hiwassee Dam wasn’t expected to qualify for the playoffs at the beginning of the season, and was on the outside looking in before the final two games of the regular season against Robbinsville.

Oliver family’s road to state games anything but ordinary

Body At regionals, Oliver’s mom, Kristie, said they lost the scoresheets that had Jordan’s name on it along with her events. That got worked out, and she was able to compete in her usual three events – the wheelchair shot put and discus along with the 100-meter dash.

Body A week later, she got on the podium at the 1A state championships, placing third in a time of 16.59.
