Body Franklin – The Cherokee County Aquatic Club placed third out of five teams at the Mountain Swim League Conference Meet, which took place Saturday.

Body “I was just looking to get on the field as fast as possible,” Nelson said. “I guess God blessed me and (with) hard work, and I just kept getting bigger and bigger.”

Swimmers finishing strong season

Body Of those 15 swimmers, 12 have qualified for Saturday’s Mountain Swim League All-Star Meet. And two also qualified for the Amateur Athletic Union Junior Olympics, which will take place July 28-30 in Greensboro.
“It’s honestly surreal,” Barolet said. “It’s something I’ve been talking about with my parents since I was four years old, and to actually be able to do it. I’m still walking on cloud nine.”
