Murphy Middle has first girls soccer team

Body There are 17 girls on this year’s team, and Decker said he did some “heavy recruiting” to try to find players he knew were good athletes, but didn’t have big softball or baseball commitments this spring.

Eagles softball 5-0 for 1st time since ’16

Body Any team in any sport can claim that as a goal, but Hiwassee Dam has backed it up so far this season. After beating Swain County 17-0 on Friday, the Lady Eagles are 5-0 for the first time since 2016.
