Gap too much for Bulldogs

Body It was another non-conference game to help the Bulldogs see some competition that’s a few levels above what they’ll see in the Smoky Mountain Conference. Murphy has already played 3A school Franklin twice, as well as a doubleheader at Appalachian State against 4A Watauga.

Lady Eagles reaching potential after a big win over Lady Cats

Eagles’ bats come alive vs. Andrews

Body “I didn’t know if we were going to be flat because three games in three days is a lot,” head coach Tommy Strickland said. “But they came out and put (six) up in the (second) inning, and that made a huge difference.”

Shuler sets Cats school record

Body Shuler’s high jump mark of 6 feet, 1 inch broke the Wildcats’ school record in just his fourth meet at the varsity level. Shuler took first in the third meet, his third time winning the high jump this spring.
