The duo have been matched for six years and, since Lucas is about to get his learner’s permit, Posey figured it was time he learned to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

May is Older Americans Month, and local seniors were encouraged to share stories through Cherokee County Department of Social Services. The two ladies received gifts and recognition for their entries while at Murphy Rehab & Nursing Center in Peachtree on June 19.
