Library great local resource

I just wanted to say thanks to all the wonderful people who work at the library. Everyone is always so kind and helpful.

We are lucky to have such a great library in our area, and I truly appreciate the work they do, along with the ease of requesting books from all over the state.

Libraries are such important community resources, and I hope everyone is able to enjoy it as much as me.

Happy reading.

Time to end the stupidity

Let’s give Dr. Dan Eichenbaum a big hurray. Due to the Murphy Town Council’s stupidity, I was involved in a wreck on Oct. 5, 2020, which has caused me financial issues, physical issues and emotional issues. Murphy didn’t need that roundabout when there is a road further down called Providence that the town council could have improved for that purpose.

We also don’t need the so-call bull pen or a sitting area. The reasons why I say that is because I know that if a person suddenly has a heart attack or accidentally falls and get hurt, an ambulance would have a harder time reaching that person especially behind a stopped school bus.

We have a park to sit at also. If I was the taxpayers’ commissioner, I would have made the sitting area an extra space for business owners to park where more customers could park on the street. I would also have used the money for the lower end of the county to be repaved instead of these tire-blowout speed traps that are in Murphy.

I would have also used some of that money to start businesses at the lower end of the county, or should I say since I was giving a “Murphy” address for another stupidity I say “the lower end of town.”

It’s time to end this stupidity. We as taxpayers have that right.

There is not a climate crisis

After the Soviet Union dissolved, globalist leaders scrambled for an ideology that would fill the void left by failed communism.

Enter manmade global warming, or rechristened climate change. Global warming was an apocalypse prediction that the industrial revolution spurred increases of temperature increasing gases, such as carbon dioxide and methane. The planet would undergo thermal destruction without conversion to “greener” technologies.

The charlatans at the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change ram this doctrine against capitalism by coercing western countries to pay trillions of dollars to reduce global temperatures. Scientific inquiry exposes IPCC’s pseudo-science.

  • The IPCC’s calculations for average Earth temperatures are imaginary constructs, designed to prove a fraudulent hypothesis. There is no average temperature for Earth; the temperature of Earth is different at every point in time and space. Earth is never in thermal equilibrium.
  • It’s impossible to disprove the manmade climate change theory. It’s blamed for more heat waves but also more cold spells, more droughts but also more floods, less snow but also more snow, more mental illness, more alcoholism, more bats and more wildfires. A principle of science states, “If a theory can’t be disproved, it isn’t science.”
  • CO2 is not the main “greenhouse gas.” It comprises four hundredths of a percent (0.0415 percent) of the atmosphere. Methane’s concentration is 2.0 ppm and nitrous oxide 0.3 ppm – both insignificant. Atmospheric effects of these are minuscule compared to water vapor, which is 70-100 times more powerful in holding atmospheric heat.
  • Al Gore’s 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, claimed melting ice would raise sea levels by 20 feet. NOAA’s instrumentation shows annual sea levels increase by the average thickness of your fingernail, or 1.73 inches per century.
  • Maui’s disastrous wildfire was caused by downed power lines, environmental policies and Democrat-run government ineptness – not climate change.

United Nations’ double standard

We hold these truths to be self evident, that all children are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator (God) with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. God’s purpose of human government is to uphold the good and punish the evil. The church and state leaders need to be actively involved in the government so that the government values are consistent with the word of God and not in line with the commandments of men.

However, the governments system demand citizens to violate God’s word. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish the Declaration of Independence, and to institute more taxes, and abolish the Constitution of the United States. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evidence a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw out such government and people, and to provide new guards and laws for the future security of the United States.

The United Nations has concerned itself with aid to refugees and to outlaw the crime of genocide, defined as an attempt to destroy “a national, ethical, racial, or religious group as such.” And to be taught the spirit of universal brotherhood.

The walking dead have separation from God and heaven. Furthermore, the history of the kings of Great Britain and others is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over the people, and for imposing taxes on us without our consent.

Peace amid raging storm

When we see and hear things on the news about the evil that is running rampant across our world, I wonder if there can be found any kind of peace that would bring me the blessed assurance that everything is going to be OK in the end.

According to Jesus’ words in the Bible in John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Jesus was not talking about the peace of sins forgiven. The peace Jesus was talking about is those who are yielded to the will of God. Today, peace is impossible to attain if we are walking in our own power, our own desires, our own lust, but if we surrender all over to Jesus Christ, He and only He has the power to overcome the world and bring us peace amid the storms we all face daily.

Being a follower of Christ guarantees us that if we choose daily to walk with Christ, then we can have the peace that surpasses all understanding.

You can’t find peace in a bottle or drugs. You can’t find it in others. You can’t even find peace in Christian service or in the house of worship, but you can find peace in the person of Jesus Christ.

There is no peace in the world, only trouble and sorrow. This is why we need to look to the Savior of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ, for the victory was won at Calvary.

Oh, how we pray for the evil that is going on over in Israel. Dear God, only you have the power to stop it all and bring peace to the world.

Poem: ‘Urgent’

Many things about the end times that Jesus said would come,

We are seeing right before our eyes.

Things are happening so very fast,

So don’t wait too long, today could be your last.

Our young people are falling for Satan’s snares,

Moms and Dads aren’t even there,

To tell them what Jesus did on that old cross

So they wouldn’t have to be lost.

My heart breaks for each one,

Who doesn’t know God’s only Son,

And all the pain that He bore,

So we could reach that peaceful shore.

Moms and Dads, Granny and Pa, we are to blame,

Because we didn’t take a stand,

To tell them of that great love,

That only comes from God above!.

I can see clearly in these last days,

Why Jesus said broad is the way,

That leadeth to destruction,

And narrow is the way that leads to righteousness,

And few be there that finds it.

Where do you want to go

and take your precious kids?

There is still time, so please don’t wait.

Don’t go on the broad way of no return.
