Gaslighting America?

After the initial scare of Dr. Brian Mitchell’s guest column urging us to get “vaccinated,” to the good people of western North Carolina, let us examine its content for veracity.

Mitchell’s statement, “the Delta variant particularly infects those who are unvaccinated,” lacks credible referencing. Particularly smacks of desperate aim, like an unskilled bowman shooting towards a presumed unintelligent prey.

What Mitchell calls “breakthrough infection” of the “vaccinated” is an evasion of the plain truth; the “vaccinated” are contracting Covid, exhibiting serious side effects, including many deaths.

And finally, Mitchell’s mortal blow, “You must get vaccinated … to permanently protect those we love.” The word use of “permanently” betrays Mitchell’s deceit. There is no permanent security in this jab for our loved ones, and everybody knows it on the side of truth.

What with the deaths and side effects from the jab being reported at an alarming rate, we would expect a retraction of the assertions for its “safety and efficacy.” Maybe instead, a “take at your own risk” disclaimer should be issued, and an apology to the American people now appropriate. Instead, we have those with letters after their names, continuing to taut the “safety and efficacy” of the vaccine, promoting mandates for financial gain.

Their claim is obvious lunacy in the wake of dangling corpses from the rafters of science. We are at a juncture where statistics are unnecessary to prove something is awry with this jab. The data is self-evident in the daily fallout reports of the “vaccinated” around us.

Please stand strong in resistance against the jab mandates. Don’t let the infringers and squatters in government rob us of our unalienable rights. It is our right, it is our duty to reclaim America from the perpetrated coup d’état.

Mask cult vs. real science?

I admire that someone was going to bring science into a discussion on masks.

But where is the science? Where are the references to his “science statements?” Anyone can spew what they think is “science,” and someone else can quote their “science.”

By stating the source of facts, the writer would allow the readers to decide if the sources were valid. Hopefully, the facts in this article did not come from a conservative radio host such as Daniel Horowitz.

In addition, influenza, which is not COVID-19, is also spread by contact with contaminated objects. (Source: Influenza virus transmission by Vincent Racaniello, PhD, Professor in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology at Columbia University.) So masks would not counter that source at all. That point is not valid with COVID.

What point is being made in the paragraph on “virus parameters?” In conclusion, I see no real science in this letter.

A science-based article called, “Still Confused About Masks? Here’s the Science Behind How Face Masks Prevent Coronavirus” can be found by Googling the title. Within it are links to the research articles from which their conclusions were drawn.

A science believer.

CRT told in poetry

What is this term “CRT”

That seems to be all the rage?

I know it has lots to do

With the cult called the “New Age.”

It’s hard for me to comprehend

How the sheeple can follow the trend – when we’ve learned that man’s destiny

Was saved on the suffering tree.

His commandment that is the greatest – is taught by Him the plainest –

That I should love everyone as else as much as I love myself.

We must do this because Jesus said we should.

My friend, we used to call this

BROTHERHOOD.

On various things here

The columns written by Mr. Wally Avett and Dr. Brian Mitchell made me respond.

Why wasn’t Dr. Mitchell’s letter about how many people really died after taking this?

Next, shame on Mr. Avett for stating unvaccinated people is purposely making anothers die. Do you know that you can be offending someone yourself, like spitting on the ground where people walk?

Here is a story for you. A person who was in a car accident needed a blood transfusion. Through this transfusion, this person contracted AIDS and had to live that way, even though the car accident wasn’t that person’s fault.

There are other things that should be of more concern in our hometown. How long does it take to fix a public restroom? Doctors say a person should not hold it very long because it will make them sick. Our hometown people has suffered this way.

Why did a few fast-food restaurants close their doors and use only drive-through service?

The worse hometown mess I’ve seen lately is this so-called interstate turning at McDonald’s. It does not solve anything except to show us stupidity and spending unnecessary taxpayers money for nothing.

Here is a salute to the businesses and staff who remained open, and stood proud to have other people feel a warm welcome when they walked through their doors.

Wanted: True conservatives

My hope with this email is it will find the right leadership within the Cherokee County Republican Party and the Cherokee Scout who believe in our freedoms and protections, provided under the Constitution, to inform voters so they may make a formidable decision as to who they want representing them next November.

This information was obtained through open records and archived commissioner meeting minutes.

Gary Westmoreland and Cal Stiles (RINOS) voted against Cherokee County’s resolution to become a gun sanctuary, which protects residents Second Amendment rights. Westmoreland made this statement to the media: “I didn’t vote for the bill, but now wish I had. It didn’t have what I needed in it at the time.” Pathetic, to say the least.

Dan Eichenbaum, Randy Phillips and Westmoreland took it upon themselves to close and build schools in Cherokee County, while ignoring and voting against the majority of residents. Narcissism is sad.

Westmoreland voted against reopening county businesses, saying he was the only commissioner to vote against the declaration. Westmoreland said it’s too early to reopen any businesses – especially because of the high percentage of elderly people in the county. “I just don’t want to see an increase in cases,” he said.

Westmoreland, who pays the majority of taxes that funds your wasteful spending and lawsuits – retirees? His voting record augments his liberal ideology and incompetence.

Filings for commissioner is from Dec. 6-17. In the next 26 days Cherokee County needs true conservatives to step up and challenge these liberals, or risk losing more of our freedoms.

As November approaches and the three of your terms expire I will, at every opportunity, remind voters we can eradicate the real viruses infecting Cherokee County.

Holy Bible is misperceived

The Bible is clear about who will enter heaven for all of eternity. Everyone ever born into this sinful world will stand in the presence of Jesus Christ and give an account of their actions, whether they be a believer in Christ or not.

A lot of folks think because they have been good, never hurt anyone, never gossip or told a lie – which probably is not true, because God’s word tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of His glory. Many folks will be surprised they are not headed to heaven, but to hell.

You might ask: Then who is responsible for telling the truth about heaven and hell? Every person who stands behind the pulpit. Every born-again believer should tell as many people as they can.

No, not all will believe, but our duty is to “go tell,” and leave the rest up to God and the Holy Spirit who convicts the hearts of those who are lost.

In the book of Revelation at the judgment seat of Jesus Christ, He alone will judge all non-believers and will tell them to their face: Depart from Me, I never knew you. What a wasted life when the ears of those who have rejected Christ are sent into hell to never leave for all of eternity and perhaps these departing words from Christ will ring in their ears forever.

Folks, it is going to happen just like the sun rises in the morning and sets in the evening, but there is a way out before you die, if only you will believe upon Jesus Christ and be saved. It is a choice we all have to make.
