Marching to Zionist strip
Propagandist extraordinaire Benjamin Netanyahu, prime minister of Israel, has had a busy 2024, destroying 80% of Gaza. According to the Lancet Journal, the world’s leading medical journal, it is “estimated that 186,000 or more Palestinians” have died as a result of Israel’s bombing of Gaza.
In 2024, Netanyahu also bombed Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Iran, thanks to the U.S. gifting billions and armaments. Netanyahu came to Washington to demand more taxpayer billions, more armaments and a new request – to kick the Palestinians out of their homeland.
Zionist mega-billionaire Miriam Adelson, Vegas casino/hotel tycoon, gifted President Donald Trump $100 million for his campaign. It’s now payback time. Adelson wants Israel to own the Gaza Strip so that Zionist billionaires can build casinos and hotels on Gaza’s oceanfront property.
Additionally for Israel is to steal the trillions in oil off of Gaza’s coast. Adelson also wants the United States to support Israel’s annexation (stealing) the Palestinian West Bank, where there are already 800,500 Israeli land thieves.
Trump has halted all foreign aid except to Israel and Egypt, and has frozen aid to Jordan for 90 days. Why would he do this? Because he wants Egypt and Jordan to remove Palestinians from Gaza so Israel can steal their land. Both nations have flatly refused.
Meanwhile, NATO puppet Zionist Volodymyr Zelensky halted Ukraine’s elections, which makes him a dictator. So much for the Ukrainian democracy we’re supposedly defending. Pffft!
Zelensky’s demanding more billions, armaments and that Trump sends U.S. sons and daughters “on the front line,” saying “they will not have a relaxed time.” Is Zelensky insane?
The U.S. debt is $36.4 trillion. Adding unfunded liabilities of $226 trillion for Social Security, Medicare and pensions, brings our total debt to $262.4 trillion.
Can Americans afford this maniacal Zionist war?

1. I applaud the active role the Cherokee Scout taking in holding the feet to the fire of the Cherokee County Board of Education and commissioners. They have been dreadfully lacking in common sense and the sense of duty to the community which they owe.
2. You published the unilateral announcement by the Mission Hospital Board that they have the No. 1 best hospital in the state. That is a joke. Duke University Hospital No. 1, and UNC Hospitals No. 2, are universally respected as superior institutions and Mission is ranked No. 9 by U.S. News. This is an objective and widely respected national system of hospital evaluation.

The almighty dollar rules
In Washington at the U.S. capital, there is a flock of spineless chickens who had or have the opportunity to protect the Constitution of our country. There are 53 of these spineless chickens all wearing a red necktie with a big R embossed on it.
These chickens are the ones voting for President Donald Trump’s cabinet nominations. To vote yes, they just stand around side by side and cluck at each other. To vote no, one has to stick their head out a hole in the fence.
Standing on the other side of the fence is a boogeyman named “Trusk.” He was not elected to any office, but has positioned himself to dictate many government policies. He stands outside the fence dressed like a king wearing a robe, crown with $250 million stamped on it and an axe in his arms. He roars if one of the chickens sticks his head out the hole to vote no –
“I will chop your head off.”
In other words, he will pay a person to run against them in the next election. They will be primaried. It seems no one wants their head cut off.
It is time for the people who are concerned about what is happening to this country to voice their opinion. Get out and demonstrate, call, write your elected officials and, if possible, go to their local offices and tell them of your concerns. This means all citizens, no matter your affiliation.
I have a feeling a lot people who voted for “Trusk” are sorry for their choose because what is happening now in Washington. May the all mighty dollar rule.

Abandoned homes here
As a resident of Murphy for 26 years, I can’t believe that areas of our little town allows certain elements seen daily left to fester.
Some years back, a house burned on Reservoir Road. The remains are still there.
A vacant house at the end of Regal Street has become a trash dump. A house on Regal Street recently burned to the ground and was left after being extinguished.
The Cherokee Scout posted it being in foreclosure twice. Shouldn’t the bank holding
the paper, or the county seeking back taxes, be responsible for the cleanup?
These pieces of property are not only unsightly, but also a health hazard – not a shining star for visitors nor anyone else seeing these properties.
Shouldn’t town/county governments take a stand and attempt a cleanup?
This is not how we want Murphy to be seen in the eyes of all – especially those seeking real estate and visitors alike. I know zoning laws do not exist in Cherokee County, but something needs to be done in town.
Certainly an ordinance can be enacted to rectify these issues.
