Superheroes live among us
I’m an Emmy-nominated, Telly Award-winning creator. My latest book is titled Ulrius Jewels and the Power of the Gems #1.
In the book, the main hero is loosely based off of me. He’s awkward, helps society and ironically falls on the ground, like what just happened today.
While visiting my parents in Murphy, I heard someone yelling for help. I frantically started searching the woods and found a neighbor, Tom, on the ground.
My wife comforted him while I called 911. Tom was rushed to Erlanger Hospital and has a broken collarbone, but was fortunate to be found quickly since he was upside down on the ground.
You can research me and my book by performing a web search for Amphoman or Ulrius Jewels.
I realized after my adrenaline wore off that this is what superheroes do. I’m grateful to be able to help someone in need.
In the past, I’ve raised money for cancer, feeding the homeless and fighting post-traumatic stress disorder. If readers want to buy my book, they can email me at kpeople@hotmail.com.

‘Liars and opportunists’
In response to letters from Joan Tidwell and Glenn Kolp. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are socialists, people of shockingly poor character, liars and political opportunists.
Harris was the deciding Senate vote on the so-called Inflation Reduction Act, which helped push inflation to 9 percent. She is also responsible for upward of 15 million illegal aliens entering our country, with all the misery that has caused.
President Donald Trump’s court cases are all Democrat lawfare, brought in Trump-hating jurisdictions to ensure guilty verdicts from jurors afraid to vote contrary to their own community politics.
This isn’t rocket science, it’s weaponized government. Your joy will turn to ashes in your mouths.

Why to vote Republican
Are clergy legally allowed to speak about election voting? Yes, they are. So, tell your leader to do it.
According to firstliberty.org, clergy are responsible to help church members be good stewards in representing Christ in all areas of our society and in their civic duties. This is especially important, as only one out of every four Christians in America votes today.
Church leaders have been given false information to scare them from impacting their culture for Christ. The law is actually supportive of fulfilling the mission to equip their saints. Even as a nonprofit corporation, there is little a church may not do.
What can they do? Register members as voters; hand-out nonpartisan voter guides; invite all candidates in a race to speak (even if only one shows up); address specific issues and legislation (including abortion, marriage, etc.).
What they cannot do: endorse or oppose a particular candidate; contribute to or use church resources for one candidate over another. These apply only to the church entity, and only if it is a nonprofit corporation.
Personally, clergy can endorse a member’s campaign as long as not done with church resources. They can call church members to encourage voting and give them information to best represent Christ at the voting booth.
Christians have a duty to vote and to vote biblically. God’s word gives direction. It shows the evil of convenient abortion; His view of homosexuality (also consider the gender dysphoria push); and reasons to support Israel.
Diversity, equity and inclusion issues have infiltrated the church under the misguided pretense of relevance and compassion, and the “woke” agenda further divides us. Knowledge of accurate socialist history proves it is sinister.
Therefore, Christians shouldn’t vote for current Democrats. They don’t follow God’s word. If you trust His direction, vote Republican.

On rabid raccoons
Have you ever wondered why President Donald Trump has such a remarkable following? Democrats, Republicans and independents, many who haven’t voted in 25 years, voted for him. Political leanings made no difference, and the following explains why.
You’ve been on vacation for two weeks, you come home, and your basement is infested with raccoons. Hundreds of rabid, messy, mean raccoons have overtaken your basement. You call dozens of different exterminators, but none of them can handle the job.
But there is this one guy, and he guarantees to get rid of them. You don’t care if he smells or swears or that he’s an alcoholic. You don’t care how many times he’s been married or that he has a plumber’s crack, you just want those raccoons gone. You want your problem fixed. He’s the best. And that brings us to Trump.
To millions of people, Trump is an egomaniac, a New York shyster – but we don’t care. The country is a mess because Republicans, Democrats and independents are rabid raccoons. They’re two-faced and gutless.
We want it all fixed. We don’t care that Trump is crude, we don’t care that he insults people, we don’t care that he has changed positions, we don’t care that he’s been married three times, we don’t care that he fights with women, we don’t care that he doesn’t know the name of some Muslim terrorist.
What we do know is that he has been very successful, a good negotiator, he has built a lot of things and he’s also not a cowardly politician. He says he’ll fix it, and we believe him because he is too much of an egotist to be proven wrong or called a liar.
Also, we don’t care if the guy has bad hair. We just want those raccoons gone.

Christian principles
The following statement is from a book called America’s God and Country Encyclopedia of Quotations by William J. Federer, page 678.
The statement was made by Noah Webster in 1832 in his published History of the United States. Every Christian and voter needs to read this before the 2024 general election scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 5.
“The brief exposition of the Constitution of the United States will unfold to young persons the principles of a Republican government and it is the sincere desire of the writer that our citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct Republican principles is the Bible, particularly the New Testament or the Christian religion.
“The religion which has introduced civil liberty is the religion of Christ and his apostles, which enjoin humility, piety and benevolence. Which acknowledges in every person a brother, or sister and a citizen with equal rights. This is genuine Christianity and to this we owe free constitutions of government.
“The moral principles and precepts contained in the Scriptures ought to form the basis of all our civil constitutions and laws. All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice and oppression, slavery and war. Proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible.
“When you become entitled to exercise the right of voting for public officers let it be impressed on your mind that God commands you to choose for rulers just men who will rule in the fear of God. ... If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted. ...
“If a Republican government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the divine commands and elect bad men to make and administer the laws.”
