Goodness for wickedness
Following my parents’ tradition, I was a Democrat. That was back when the Party was what the Republican Party is now – conservative and caring.
It took time, thoughtful observation and conscientious learning to recognize how far Democrats have drastically digressed from good intentions to manipulative, evil ones.
The day after the Republican Convention, I landed on CSPAN. The show host took phone calls from Democrats, Republicans and independents. One female Democrat seriously suggested George Clooney replace Joe Biden as president.
Asked why, she assertively replied, “Because he is good looking and an actor.”
That’s precisely the typical ignorance far too many Democrats possess, completely lacking understanding of their party’s despicable descent, then making absolutely wrong voting choices.
After that ridiculous phone call and others, I later heard Biden’s family was going to confront him about dropping out of the election before the July 26 deadline. It was reported Biden “is hurt and he is angry.”
How like Democrats, kicking their man when he’s down, sidelined with Covid. And they turn on you even faster, something they’ve done to struggling Americans for many years.
Remember, these are the same people who deceived us … deflecting Biden’s ongoing mental decline, allowing him to be humiliated before the entire world while we suffered countless consequences. Shamefully, Democrats lack truth and compassion.
People, wake up. Election tradition has no place here because Democrats have replaced goodness with wickedness. Anyone who can’t or won’t see this should pray for wisdom and discernment. Then do your homework. Don’t trust biased national media as your source.
Take time to learn about Donald Trump’s excellent record as our 45th president
and who he actually is. This gained knowledge should ultimately result in votes for
Republicans. Only then will our government proceed with too-long-overdue changes, proving Americans finally do matter.

Why build if we don’t want?
When the N.C. Department of Transportation proposed improvement to the Blairsville Road, the people and the Cherokee Scout were opposed.
When the DOT proposed creating a roundabout on U.S. 64/74 west of McDonald’s, which included building two roads to nowhere, the people were opposed.
I can see how these projects get funded, but if no one wants them, why are they done?

Fox guarding the hen house
With the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump in full investigative mode, one has to ask.
Did Matthew Crooks act alone? Did this 20-year-old kid outsmart the Secret Service, FBI, DHS and the DOJ? Have these government agencies become the KGB? Who’s doing the investigation? Did Crooks have help from any or all of these agencies? Did his cell phone reveal any calls to any of them?
The FBI/KGB has his phone, so we will never know. Yes, the fox is guarding the hen house.
