Your Opinion Matters for April 8, 2026

Body

This week’s question: What’s your opinion of what’s been called “The Epstein Files,” which include emails, information and photos from the federal investigation into the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein?

  • The files point to wrongdoing, and all violators should be prosecuted.
  • The files don’t prove any criminal actions, and it’s time to move on.
  • I have no idea.

“We haven’t seen these files, and if there is wrongdoing they’re probably not going to do nothing anyway, so why bring it up now? We have so much other goings on in the world and he’s gone. If people are guilty they should be held accountable, but if they are not gonna hold them accountable, why do it? I’m sure there’s a lot more people guilty than we’ll ever know.”

Deby Jo Ferguson, Hayesville

“I think anybody that did anything wrong should be accountable for that.”

Nicolette Washburn, Bellview

“I don’t know enough about it but if there is wrongdoing, I would want justice.”

Samantha Freeman, Culberson

“I think that they should be prosecuted including the president. I’m a No Kings person, so get him out of there. If you’ve got a clown for president, then you’ve got a circus.”

Jonathon James, Ranger

“I think they outta get through it or leave it alone.”

Rick Thomasson, Peachtree
