This week’s question: Do you use a traditional landline phone for calls at home?

  • Yes, I still count on it.
  • No, my cell is enough.

“I don’t have one because it’s all internet-based. For me to have a home phone, it would still go through my internet, which doesn’t do me any good when the power goes out. My cellphone is enough.”

Kathy Dillon, Marble

“No, only the cellphone but at work we have a landline. The cellphone is enough.”

Trevor Jones, Andrews

“No I don’t because I have a cell phone. I don’t miss a landline.”

Christy Cantrell, Martins Creek

“Yes, I have a landline. I live with my grandmother and we’ve always had a landline phone. When I live in my own house I wanna landline phone because I like having two options in case I don’t have cellphone data or something.”

Hailey Ball, Martins Creek

“No, I don’t have a landline phone, but I have a cellphone because I think it’s quicker. I do miss the landline phone because you don’t have to worry about it going dead and it’s always there.”

Shaun Lloyd, Murphy
