Choices is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is operated by a staff that is non-judgmental. No one gets paid. All our services are free. We are governed by the word of God through Jesus Christ.
We are here to support the family as the word tells us to. As we start with the pregnancy of a woman and the father, we emphasize the importance of a pro-life family.
The four pathways
We will teach there are four paths in a pregnancy:
- One – to have a child and raise the child as a family unit, hopefully as Christ would have us do.
- Two – you can have the child fostered through foster care until you are able to take care of your child.
- Three – you can adopt your child to a loving home. We can help you with your rights as parents and what that would look like.
- Four – you can have an abortion. We at Choices do not do abortions nor refer you to a clinic that will. We will teach you about abortions and how they can affect your life. We offer the facts, not opinions on these subjects. We offer free ultrasound, pregnancy tests, parenting, pregnancy, fatherhood classes and other life courses.
What are our needs?
We always value the prayers of our community. We need more volunteers that can help in all areas. These people can do all sorts of jobs, from cleaning to coaching in our life classes. Building maintenance to doing outreach in our community on special events.
We are looking for board members and directors to help operate the center. We are a newer center with many opportunities for younger adults to the retired – male and female.
The third opportunity to help is with financial contributions. It takes a lot of dollars to operate and grow going forward.
