It is with great sadness that the family of James Ryan Hubbell announce his passing on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at age 74 in Andrews. Heaven welcomed a sweet soul.

    Thomas Leroy Pickelsimer, 90, of the Peachtree community, Murphy, passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2019. Mr. Pickelsimer was born March 9, 1929, in Epworth, Ga., to the late J.D.

    Donald “Todd” Fleming, 37, of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019.
    Todd was born in Cherokee County to Donnie Fleming and Alice Graves Kephart.

    Timothy Scroggs, 64, of Brasstown, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, at his residence.

    Juanita Bryson, 86, of Murphy, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019.
    She was the daughter of the late James and Lillie Beaver.

    Leslie C. Marcotte Jr., “Les,” 77, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019, at 3:54 p.m. in Murphy, where he lived the past 20 years. He was surrounded by his loving family at his passing.

    Harley Ray Stamey Cochran, 20, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019.
    Born in Sylva, he was the son of Randy Cochran of Nantahala and Marcie Phillips of Franklin.

    Ricky E. Crawford, 67, of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at his residence.

    John Fillyaw, 69, of Murphy, passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2019, in a Murphy care facility.
