Tony Bryant will be at the Andrews Public Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for the annual showcase of his Native American artifact collection during Spring Fling.

Crowds are expected to meet on Main Street in Andrews for the annual Spring Fling from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday. Vendors, food trucks, a kids zone and live music help welcome in the season in the town’s signature event.

Winners of the 2026 Art Show were celebrated and supported by the Cherokee County Arts Council on April 17.

The N.C. Cooperative Extension Donation Station is set up at the Murphy Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every second and fourth Saturday.

A dinner setting was laid out for Cherokee County Detention Sgt. Francisco Flattes, who died in the line of duty in June 2025.

The “live watch” party at local spot Mountain Vale Lodge in Murphy included a dedicated crowd rooting for local favorite Braden Rumfelt.
