The 49th annual Singing Christmas Tree will be presented three consecutive days at First Baptist Church of Murphy, across from McDonald’s on Hiwassee Street.

Kids laughed and played as groups of people conversed while waiting for the colorful array of lights to magically appear. About 5:40 p.m. Thursday, a day early due to the weather forecast, the Christmas tree vibrantly lit up in Murphy for all to see.
