The N.C. Sheriffs’ Association hosted sheriffs, sheriffs’ personnel and their families from across North Carolina,, including Cherokee County Sheriff Dustin Smith, last week for their Annual Business Conference. The conference allows sheriffs and their personnel to gather for training classes, panel discussions, networking and more. Founded in 1922, the association is a not-for-profit professional and educational organization of our state’s 100 sheriffs.
