Murphy – The Lady Bulldogs’ soccer team suffered their third straight loss to Franklin on April 4. In their 3-0 loss, Murphy lacked possession of the ball and scoring chances.
Hiwassee Dam – The Eagles’ baseball team took on Hayesville last week, losing both games while dealing with injury and illness.
Hayesville – The Andrews and Tri-County track and field teams met March 27 for the second Smoky Mountain Conference meet of the season.
Cherokee – Hiwassee Dam, Murphy and Nantahala had several athletes place well during the Smoky Mountain Conference meet on March 27.
Murphy – The Lady Bulldogs continued their winning ways, sweeping Andrews 15-0 and 19-4 in a two-game series last week.
