The 12th annual Punkin Chunkin Festival was held Saturday and Sunday at 811 Settawig Road in Brasstown after a year’s absence due to COVID-19.
Thousands of people from near and far were on hand to see how catapults, air cannons, trebuchets and other types of powerful machines toss pumpkins up to several thousand feet in a competitive battle.
There were plenty of other fun activities for all ages as well. To learn more about the event, visit www.claychambernc.com or like the Punkin Chunkin Festival on Facebook.
