Body The following people were booked through the Cherokee County Detention Center from Oct. 12-18, 2025, and federal law enforcement officers handled the cases.
Milestone: The partnership between the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Renewed Hope in Peachtree recently marked a significant step forward in addressing substance use disorders in Cherokee County by combining law enforcement efforts with treatment and support. An individual transitioned from the detention center in Murphy to the faith-based ministry in Peachtree, a one-year, four-phase recovery program that incorporates a 12-step model to support treatment and re-entry into the community.
