In its 28th year, the celebration honors First Nations culture; Heaton’s class made beaded necklaces and offered gifts to family, who attended in keeping with the tradition.

The fundraiser helps Rotary’s mission to “End Polio Now.” This year’s third annual event will take place from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at 110 Valley River Ave.
