Opening reception Friday for Wallace photography exhibit

    Murphy – The Cherokee County Arts Council will hold an exhibit of the “Photography of Scott Wallace” at the Mill Building, 104 Tennessee St. downtown.

    Wallace, who passed away in October 2023, was well known during his years in Murphy, both as the photojournalist for the Cherokee Scout and for his community service with organizations such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

    The “Photography of Scott Wallace” exhibit is the second in an ongoing series of quarterly presentations curated by the Arts Council within the historic Mill Building and hosted by McNabb Properties.

    The public is invited to the opening reception from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Mill Building downtown.
