Get your tastebuds ready, because it’s time for TomatoFEST.
On Saturday, Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Cherokee Clay Food Alliance will turn the Riverwalk behind the historic L&N Depot in downtown Murphy into a celebration of all things local, fresh, and delicious for our 4th Annual TomatoFEST.
Whether you’re a lifelong local or just visiting our beautiful mountain town, TomatoFEST has something for the entire family:
- A dedicated Family Fun Tent packed with activities to keep the kids smiling.
- Live local music right by the river.
- Food trucks and an array of unique local vendors showcasing the best of our community.
Plus, back by popular demand, is the Bloody Mary Competition. A $10 ticket (plus a valid ID that shows you’re 21+) lets you sample each competitor’s concoction so you can help us decide who takes home the crown for the best twist on this classic tomato cocktail.
TomatoFEST happens alongside the Murphy Farmers Market, featuring fresh produce, baked goods, and handmade crafts.
Support for TomatoFEST and the Farmers Market puts your support directly back into the hands of our Cherokee and Clay County neighbors.
