The public is invited out to Cherokee County's 3rd Annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 5-8 p.m. at Tri-County Community College in Peachtree.
The annual event is geared toward fostering stronger relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. It further aims to enhance these relationships by encouraging neighbors to engage with their local first responders.
There will be free food, live demonstrations including K-9 events, emergency vehicles up close and child safety education as well as other fun for the entire family.
Bring your friends and neighbors out to meet the folks that help keep you safe and check out some cool equipment.
National Night Out began in 1984.
