Middle school soccer team?
Andrews Middle School is trying to see if there’s enough interest to form a middle school soccer team this fall. The team will be open to kids in grades 6-8.
If you have a child who is attending the school next year, interested in playing soccer and learning more about a potential team, please call 321-5762 to add your name to the list.

Basketball camp set
Andrews High School will hold a co-ed basketball camp for rising fourth- through eighth-graders from noon-2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, July 18-20, in the high school gym.
The cost of the camp is $40. A registration form can be found on Andrews High School’s Facebook page.

Tri-County Color Run
The Tri-County Community College Foundation will hold a 5K Color Run on Saturday, July 23, through the main campus off U.S. 64 East. The event will raise funds to benefit students through institutional scholarship awards.
Registration is $40, which includes an event T-shirt that will be decorated with color powder at the beginning of the race. Prizes and medals will also be awarded to race participants. For details, visit tricountycc.edu.

Volleyball camp set
Andrews High School will hold a youth volleyball camp for rising third- through eighth-graders from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, July 26-28, in the high school gym.
Campers will have the opportunity to learn proper skills and mechanics, as well as gain knowledge of game play experiences from Wildcats coaches and athletes.
The cost of the camp is $40. A registration form can be found on the Andrews High School Facebook page.
