McNabb hit 1,000 boards
A surprise came to Hiwassee Dam senior Olivia McNabb at their athletics banquet on May 19.
In the Lady Eagles’ second-round playoff game against Albemarle on Feb. 28, McNabb grabbed the 1,000th rebound of her high school career.
That was her second major basketball milestone, as she got her 1,000th point during her junior season. McNabb was presented with a commemorative ball saying she got her 1,000th rebound during the banquet.
