Murphy – Jude Pinkerton, an eighth-grader at Murphy Middle School playing on the Team Georgia U.S. Army Bowl Team, is seeking participants for its sponsorship program.

Donations to the U.S. Army Bowl Team Georgia will offset the expenses of travel, accommodations and participation for the 2022 National Middle School All-Star Championship Invitational football game, which will be held Dec. 11-18 in Frisco, Texas. The event is being hosted by the Dallas Cowboys.

All fundraising proceeds will go directly to Pinkerton and his Georgia Bowl team. Donations are tax deductible.

“I am blessed to have this opportunity, and want to thank God for blessing me with talent to play the game I love,” Pinkerton said. “I want to thank all of you who are supporting me in this once in a lifetime opportunity to represent Team GA in the 2022 U.S. Army Bowl.

“It is a true blessing, and I would also like to thank Elite Talent Football for
offering me a golden ticket to display my skills in the U.S. Army Bowl National Middle School All-Star Championship.”
