Andrews – With the majority of the season in the books, the Andrews Lady Wildcats and head coach Shanna Mustin are continuing to build.
Since picking up their first two wins of the season, the Lady Cats have faced off against a tough trio of teams, including the Murphy Lady Bulldogs (13-2) and the Smoky Mountain Conference leading Robbinsville Lady Knights (13-1).
Despite the numbers in the win column, Mustin said that the her team is continuing to improve and playing harder than at the start of the season.
“We’re continually improving on our skills and playing with more intensity than we were at the beginning of the season,” Mustin said.
“As a team, we have more chemistry and the girls are working hard day-in and day-out to reach our goals.”
Andrews is 2-11 heading into a rematch with Hiwassee Dam, a team the Lady Cats took to five sets earlier this season.
