The Andrews Lady Wildcats improved to 4-12 heading into the final week of the regular season with wins against Nantahala and Cherokee for the second time this year.
The Lady Wildcats handled the Lady Hawks with ease in straight sets, but the Lady Braves gave Andrews a challenge. Andrews defeated Cherokee in five sets, taking the fifth set narrowly 15-13.
The Lady Cats fell 3-1 to Hayesville after the Cherokee Scout’s press time Tuesday. They finish the regular season by taking on Murphy on Thursday.
Lady Eagles fall
The Hiwassee Dam Lady Eagles fell to 8-11 heading into the final week of regular season play, dropping matches to Hayesville and Blue Ridge Early College.
The Lady Eagles closed out the regular season falling in straight sets to Murphy.
