Cannon Crompton/sports@cherokeescout.com Murphy High School senior track athlete Corrine Cotton (middle) signed a letter of commitment to continue her athletic and academic career at Wingate University on Monday morning. She will be going from the Murphy Bulldogs to the Wingate Bulldogs. Cotton plans on majoring in pre-pharmacy at Wingate. She is joined by her father, Duane Cotton (left), and mother, Nicole Cotton (left).
