October is here, which means it’s the final stretch of the regular season for most fall sports.
Friday night is homecoming in Murphy. The Bulldogs will face Rosman in their first meeting since 2021, and the homecoming queen will be crowned on David Gentry Field at halftime.
There are also in-county matchups on the volleyball court and soccer field. Murphy will host Andrews on Tuesday and Tri-County Early College will face Murphy on Wednesday.
Hiwassee Dam is also in Little Smoky Mountain Conference action on the road Tuesday against Summit Charter and back home Thursday against Blue Ridge Early College.
