Andrews hosts

Southside Christian

James Phillips’ Wildcats will not be challenged this week. Southside Christian has one only one win in three outings. The Wildcats seem to be hitting on all cylinders, and quarterback Everett Tatham & Co. should have no problem this week. Andrews by 21.

Cherokee at Robbinsville

Robbinsville comes into this game 1-4, while Cherokee is 3-2, but records can be deceiving. Robbinsville has played the toughest non-conference schedule in the Smoky Mountain Conference, and the Black Knights have been close to winning those games. The Black Knights will roll in this one. Look for this one to be decided early, and it will not end well for the Braves. Robbinsville by 21.

Swain County hosts Madison

Swain has not found an offensive identity yet with the personnel they have. They only have one choice, and that’s to go back to their roots, which is the veer. They have had a week to work it out, but we’re hearing rumors that there are some internal problems in the Maroon Devils’ Den. Think they may not have it fixed yet. Madison by 3.

Hayesville hosts Concord Christian

The Yellow Jackets are 0-4 and have had problems scoring. This team coming into Hayesville is from Knoxville Tenn., and have only played one game so far, which they won. Hayesville needs to get their scoring problems fixed, and until they prove to me that they have, I’m going with the visiting Lions. Concord Christian by 3.
