2 games delayed

Hiwassee Dam – The Eagles were planning to play two games last week before Mother Nature got in the way.

Hiwassee Dam was supposed to host Robbinsville on Jan. 18, which was postponed due to Cherokee County Schools canceling classes that day. On Thursday, they were supposed to play Cherokee, but that game was postponed due to potential freezing on the roads later in the day.

A makeup date has not been announced for either game. The Eagles already played at Andrews on Jan. 24 and at Copper Basin, Tenn., on Jan. 25. Hiwassee Dam is back in action at Murphy on Thursday.
