Peachtree – The American Championship Wrestling Federation returned to the Peachtree Community Center on Saturday night with hard-hitting, chaos ensuing matchups.
From the 10-man tag-team main event to singles action throughout, fans at ACWF’s third consecutive sold-out show were treated to quality professional wrestling.
The main was a 10-man tag match with Creature, City, KZ, MD King and American Standard taking on Billy Havoc, Moki, Digger James, Frodo and Flex Ferguson. There was tension going into the match, as multiple rivalries between the wrestlers has been building all year.
Action began with heavy hits and loud pops from the sold-out crowd. The match hits its breaking point when Frodo began attacking the other tag team, who were standing outside the ring. Then both tag teams entered the ring and they began to beat each other up.
In almost an instant, the match went from two men in the ring to all 10. Then the action went outside the ring, with multiple wrestlers fighting in the audience.
The main event ended when Moki hit his finisher on MD King for the pinfall victory. Moki and the team of Billy Havoc, Digger James, Frodo and Flex Ferguson got the win.
In the co-main event, Killshot took on Cyrus. Fans knew exactly what would happen when the two big, hard-hitting competitors entered the squared circle.
Before the bell had even rung, Cyrus started throwing chairs into the ring. Killshot and Cryus then exchanged blows outside the ring before eventually make their way inside.
Once they entered the ring, they exchanged heavy blows. The match ended when Killshot landed a low blow to both Cyrus and Jeff the Ref. After Cyrus rolled out of the ring, Killshot continue to land heavy shots all the way back to the locker room.
In the match prior, Rod the Bod took on AJ Knight. The two men locked up to start the match, the Rod reversed an Irish whip to knock over AJ Knight. After multiple big moved landed, Rod landed a DDT to get the three-count to win by pinfall over AJ Knight.
In the fourth match of the night, Axel Freakin’ Gunn took on Disturbed. Jeff the Ref had to keep the two men separated as tension grew before the bell had rung. Disturbed landed big moves to start, but then Gunn took over and controlled the match.
Disturbed began landing hard-hitting moves on Gunn toward the end of the match. While the referee was distracted, Gunn caught Disturbed off guard and pinned him for the win.
In the third match of the night, Gun Metal Gray took on Dread Wing. Both men went back and forth until Gun Metal Gray landed a massive flying knee to the head of Dread Wing, who he pinned for the win.
In the second match of the night, Void took on Blue Flame. Blue Flame came out with multiple strikes, but Void did not budge. All it took was a few big, hard-hitting strikes to Blue Flame for Void to get the three-count pin.
The show opened with tag-team action between the team of Cousin Cletus and Mountain Man Jeremy Stiles against Killshot and Kevin Seiber.
Before the match even started, the two teams went back and forth exchanging words. Once the action began, Stiles and Seiber took shots at each other.
Seiber then tagged in Killshot to continue beating up Stiles. Both Seiber and Killshot targeted the arm and head of Stiles.
Stiles turned it around and landed a huge move on Killshot. Then Stiles was able to tag in his partner to get a reprieve from the beating, but Killshot was also able to tag in Seiber.
Cousin Cletus immediately went to work on Seiber, getting his payback for the Seiber beating up on Stiles. Then Seiber, with the help of Killshot, also went to work on Cletus’ arm causing damage. Cletus tricked Killshot into hurting the arm of Seiber, but Cletus landed a huge punch on Seiber that knocked him down.
Cletus then made the tag to Stiles, and it was his turn to hurt the arm of Seiber. Both tag teams went back and forth.
With Cousin Cletus and Seiber in the ring, Cletus landed a big move on Seiber. That move knocked out Seiber, and Cletus was able to get the three-count to earn the win.
ACWF will return to the Peachtree Community Center on Saturday, Aug. 2.
