Cherokee County rivals Andrews and Hiwassee Dam faced off on the baseball diamond and Andrews came out on top in both games.
The Wildcats earned their 10th and 11th consecutive wins as they defeated their in-county rivals.
Cats win 21-13
For the second time this season, the Wildcats scored more than 20 runs in a game as they defeated Hiwassee Dam 21-13. Their game against the Eagles was also the first time this season that a team has scored double digits against them.
It was an offensive battle at 10 players scored multiple runs and Drew Dartez of Andrews hit a home run.
The Wildcats got the scoring started with two runs in the top of the first frame. They then added five more runs in the top of the second to lead 7-0.
The Eagles fought back to make it a one-run game with six runs in the bottom of the second inning.
Andrews then added four runs in the top of the third to lead 11-6.
In the fourth inning, Andrews added seven runs and the Eagles scored three. The Wildcats led 18-9 through four innings.
The Eagles cut into the lead with three runs in the fifth inning to trailed 18-12.
The sixth inning was the only scoreless inning of the game, but the runs continued in the seventh inning.
Andrews added three more runs to lead 21-12. Hiwassee Dam scored one run in the bottom of the seventh and the Wildcats won the game 21-13.
Tanner Postell and Kelby Waldroup led the Wildcats with four runs each. Dawson Stalcup scored three runs. Dartez, Logan Shuler, and Brady McLelland scored two runs each.
Shuler, Stalcup, Waldroup and Logan Hyde had two stolen bases each. Postell and Peanut Garrett had one stolen base each.
Hyde, Postell and Stalcup combined on the mound for the win. Hyde led in strikeouts with five.
Noah Watkins and Cole Elliott led the Eagles as they scored three runs each. Abel Penland and Brock Orton scored two runs each.
Watkins and Dustin Haggberg had one stolen base each.
Cats win 16-0
It was all Andrews on Friday as the two in-county rivals faced off in Andrews. The Wildcats put on an offensive show again as they won 16-0 in the five inning game.
After a scoreless first inning, the Wildcats exploded for 13 runs in the bottom of the second inning. They then added three more runs in the bottom of the third inning to lead 16-0.
Both teams were scoreless in the fourth inning and the Wildcats held the Eagles scoreless in the top of the fifth inning to win the ballgame.
The Wildcats scored 16 runs on 13 hits, while the Eagles only had one hit in the game.
Dalton Kester had the Eagles only hit in the game. He was their only baserunner as no one was walked or hit by a pitch.
Hyde led the Wildcats as he scored three runs. Shuler, Postell, Garrett, Stalcup and Brady Queen scored two runs each.
Waldroup led the team as he had four RBIs.
Postell had five stolen bases in the game and Hyde had two. Shuler, Queen and Cade Parker also had one stolen base each.
Ethan Sutton threw a 67-pitch complete game as he only gave up one hit in his outing. He struck out 13 of the 16 batters he faced in the win.

The Wildcats return to the field at 4:30 p.m. Thursday as they travel to face Swain County.
When they return from spring break, they will face Murphy at home at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14.
The Eagles will host Robbinsville at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in their next contest.
They will then travel to Tennessee to face Copper Basin at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 13.
