Andrews – A nice crowd came out to enjoy Food Truck Friday at Hall Memorial Park downtown.

Jereme Overton and Jonathan Allen with The Bigfoot Refinery Beard Co. are from Murphy. They had their beard oils on hand for anyone with facial hair wanting to look a little more refined, while smelling good at the same time.
"Our beard oils are made with four carrier oils and five different scents" Jereme said.
Their oils are handcrafted in the mountains of western North Carolina. For details, visit thebigfootrefinery.com.
Cindy Sanger with Three Crosswalks Artwork came out with her paper-quilling artwork. It’s made by curling and rolling colored strips of paper into different designs to create art, bowls and jewelry.
"I started in January and taught myself,” she said. “I come to the events as a way to share my artwork with other people."
Courtney Byers used stainless tumblers and epoxy to create her cups with a variety of colors and designs.
"It's a process,” she said. “A cup takes a couple of weeks to make.
"I like getting involved in the community, going out and talking to people. This is something that keeps me busy at home. When the schools shut down because of COVID, this was something I could do to keep me sane."
Byers does it for fun as well as for a purpose. The proceeds made from four designs in her collection will go to Penfield Addiction Ministry for women in Lavonia, Ga.
She plans on going out once a month for two hours to do a Bible study and craft with these women during a six-week rehabilitation, which she believes will give them some hope. For details, visit www.facebook.com/courtneyscraftycreations7.
