Photos by Anngee Quinones-Belian/ Staff Correspondent: A happy Mary Krebs was the first-place winner of the chili cook-off at Buck Bald Brewing in Murphy on Saturday sponsored by Nam Knights of America MC, Appalachian Chapter. She cheerfully gave the $100 bill back to the fundraiser as “Sig” Chris Poston hooted and hollered.
The second-place winner of the chili cook-off Saturday was Chris Tomczak. He won $50 and also donated the money back.
13 participants brought crackpots filled with tasty samples.
