Andrews – Ethan Sutton is a youngster to be watched.
Just 13 years old, Ethan has a mission in life. He plays travel baseball and loves the Lord, and he's found a way to do both at the same time. The young player has a ministry where he passes out Bibles and bracelets at games for teammates, other players and anyone else who would like one.
Ethan's goal is to pass out 1,000 Bibles at the games. He’s well on his way, with 750 already in the hands of others.
His parents, Lisa and Scott – along with his brother Jacob, best friend Drew Dartez and pastor Chuck Davis – are all very proud of him. Ethan attends Andrews Second Baptist Church.
The seventh-grader at Andrews Middle School plays baseball for the Wildcats and recently made a Major A travel baseball team, the Home Plate Chili Dogs, out of Atlanta. He loves baseball and realizes none of that would be possible without God, but it hasn't always been easy for him.
“People turn down the Bibles I try to give them,” Ethan said, but that hasn't stopped the youngster from sharing his love of God with others.
When asked what is his dream is for the future, he said, "I'd like to be in Major League Baseball and serving my life for God."
"Several members of church have supported him,” Lisa added. Special thanks go to Burke Woods and Eddie Hardin for their donations.
