Body A majority of the county board of commissioners voted to give county employees a cost-of-living adjustment that adds nearly half a million dollars to the annual budget.

Body Town aldermen appointed a new police chief Monday, making Rocky Burrell the eighth person to lead the department in the past three and a half years.
