The “Zodiac Man” is pictured in many almanacs, magazines and calendars. You must know the signs on the days of the week and during the month in order to plant your garden, harvest the crops, cut your hair or, for some folks, to schedule medical procedures.

Gabriela, David and Santiago Barillas competed in the tomato relay race at the Murphy Farmers Market. David (center) took the first-place ribbon, while Gabriela (left) took second place and Santiago (right) walked away with third Saturday.
