Vehicle found in Andrews creek

Andrews - Officials found a vehicle abandoned in a creek.

Police say the vehicle was spotted in a creek lying next to a bridge in the 2600 block of Junaluska Road around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday. 

No one occupied the vehicle, nor did officials find any crash victims nearby. It remains unclear what time or date the accident occurred. 

North Carolina State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
