Cherokee County Municipal Elections
Andrews Mayor James Reid kept his seat in a narrow win against challenger Alderman Brandi Smith.
For alderman, Chasity Ledford won easily with Heath Woodard coming in second for two available seats in Andrews.

Murphy results
Murphy Mayor Tim Radford won his reelection bid Tuesday, with 93.92% of votes against 6.08% for unidentified write-ins.
Radford received 139 votes to nine votes cast for write-in candidates.
Jonathan Dickey and Kimberly Harris will fill two open seats on the Murphy Town Council. Four incumbents will keep their seats.
