Andrews Mayor James Reid kept his seat in a narrow win against challenger Alderman Brandi Smith. 

For alderman, Chasity Ledford won easily with Heath Woodard coming in second for two available seats in Andrews. 

Here are the full results with two of two precincts in:

James D. Reid 177    51.75%
Brandi Smith 163    47.66%
Write-In (Misc.) 2    0.58%

 

Andrews Board of Aldermen (top two win):

Chasity Ledford 193    29.88%
Heath Woodard 176     27.24%
Rex Cable 151     23.37%
Gary R. James 114    17.65%
Write-In (Misc.) 12    1.86%

 

Murphy results 

Murphy Mayor Tim Radford won his reelection bid Tuesday, with 93.92% of votes against 6.08% for unidentified write-ins. 

Radford received 139 votes to nine votes cast for write-in candidates. 

Jonathan Dickey and Kimberly Harris will fill two open seats on the Murphy Town Council. Four incumbents will keep their seats.
