The Mason Bar in Murphy organized a “Breast Cancer Women's Pool Tournament Fundraiser.” The event brought together members of the Murphy pool players community, who are committed to raising awareness about breast cancer – a disease that affects one in eight women during her lifetime. The tournament served as a meaningful way for the community to unite in support of this important cause and to shine a light on the challenges faced by women battling breast cancer. The event raised more than $1,000. All proceeds from the event will be donated to a woman in need in the local area.
