The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is hosting the “Dinger Derby Baseball Camp” for players ages 6-19 at Konehete Park from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Wednesday, June 21-23.
Former Atlanta Braves outfielder and World Series champion Otis Nixon will be one of the coaches at the camp, and all participants will get a signed Nixon poster and baseball if they bring their own ball. The cost is $100 per camper, and each sibling will get a 25 percent discount.
If a family cannot afford to send their kid to the camp, the FCA will look for a sponsor. For details, email crumfelt@fca.org.
